The Philippine National Volleyball Federation on Monday signed a two-year agreement with Senoh Corporation as its official equipment supplier for volleyball and beach volleyball.
PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara and Senoh Corporation President Tetsuya Ozaki met during the Tokyo 2020 volleyball tournament to finalize the sponsorship deal.
Also serving as an official volleyball supplier with the FIVB and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), Senoh will provide the PNVF posts, pads, nets, antennae, referee chairs and floor apparatus for volleyball, and court lines and post bases for beach volleyball.
The partnership will begin with the PNVF’s hosting of the 21st Asian Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship slated on August 29-September 5 in Clark, Pampanga and Subic.
Senoh will be visible in all major PNVF events such as the Champions League, the first national women’s and men’s league owned by the country’s volleyball governing body, and the National Girls and Boys U18 and U16 Championships.
They will also supply equipment to the PNVF National Beach Volleyball Championships and the National Girls and Boys U18 Beach Volleyball Championships.
The Chiba, Japan-based organization has a storied history with international competitions, having provided volleyball equipment since the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, when the sport made its debut.
